I feel like a puzzle piece
That does not fit,
From the same puzzle
Yet somehow opposite built
Of how it’s supposed to be
To fit with the rest of the world
Only fitting with few
Yet still misunderstood by all

I feel like a puzzle piece
That will never fit
No matter how hard I tried
I feel like I will never fit
Perhaps to be thrown carelessly into a box
Or a bag
Or across the room
Never to be cared about
Never to be loved
Only fitting with few
Even those connections forced
Never to truly fit
Into this puzzle we call life

What inspired me to write this poem is how it feels most of the time. I feel like I never fit in with the rest of my family or even with most of my friends.

Hey, congrats at getting this poem on the website! This one is my favorite out of all of them.
