Sonnet about the rain
I can see the rain nailing down the ground,
The dark clouds are slowly coming around.
The birds fly up in groups trying to escape
A storm is going to meet the city's fate
I sit at my window looking outside
A rainy day makes the world want to cry.
I can find happiness in rainy days
Perhaps it's the colors; just blues and grays.
