I look in your eyes

and all that I see

is all this sorrow

looking back at me.

from head

to toe.

trying not to think

seems to love to pick you apart.

You keep asking around

how to fix a broken heart.

I look in the mirror

and see those same eyes.

The eyes that I

have learned to despise.

I look down at

the ground in shame,

and know that

For all the sadness

I fall to the ground

and cry till I shake.

stay strong.

and smile

with long sweaters.

I live life a little regretful,
