I Plead For Your Smile
How can I make you smile? A way I’ll find
I will sing and write you verses and songs
That penetrate until your grief is gone
And pure bliss reaches to your fiery core
And to the gates of heaven I will soar
So high to bring you a piece of the dawn
Then I’ll swim until I reach the seashore
And bring you the great shells I shall land upon
I will sit there beneath the brightest stars
Until I can reach and take one for you
Then I will bring it forth and heal your scars
 And your intoxicating laugh rescue
Perpetual joy will always be ours
Slay your fears and your misery subdue
