Silence

By Anonymous

It gnaws at your every nerve
Making you crazy
Taunting in its cold obnoxious ways
Urgently flooding its’ awkwardness
To every corner of the room
Nothing to be heard
Not even your own thoughts

Swiftly piercing the air
Spoken like a vulgar word
Forcing you on your own
Unbearable screaming
Engulfing you,
Deafening,
Silence

I like this poem. I wrote a little about the same thing in my poem "I AM"
