Off Stage

It's not your fault
if I'm not breathing
just know that I let go;
of this world
of the lies
of this life-
I'm happy now.

Carry on
you've got to carry on
and I know how hard it is
to be strong;
but you were born so much better
to play the part
than I ever was.

So carry on
and when I see you
I'll tell you
how much I love you
how much you mean
to me
how glad I am
you took the part
I could no longer play.
