Same Path
Same Old Path
With Another Perspective
I am a spec of dust,
the remnants of what once was a shred of paper,
what became of this paper was combustion,
the cause of its demise…
a wolf with a bad temper.
And I am different person here.
Different income, different life, different memories, different past.
And yet, we both have that problem of identification,
something that should come naturally to us,
like counting our numbers, 1, 2, and 3.
And yet, it is stripped away from us ever so slowly,
forcing us to search for it in the dark.
