Coloring the sky pink.
The color of smiles, laughter
Of imagination and freedom.
The sun is traveling
Coloring the sky yellow.
The color of sweat, dirt
Of mistakes and learning.
The sun is setting
Coloring the sky red.
The color of trials, love
Of meaning and living.
The sun is dying
Coloring the sky purple.
The color of content, peace
Of acceptance and wisdom.
The sun is dead
The sky is black.
The color of cold, loss
Of memory and eternity
