Beautiful stranger,
What's on your mind?
As you walk through me, a lifeless ghost
In the time frame of five minutes
Down a snow glazed sidewalk
I stop to look back but you're gone
Stray silence and a shroud of snowflakes,
Left behind.
Clouds to blot out the shivering stars
I wonder about the mud on your boots
The weariness in your eyes
And secretly...
I begin to miss you
