Oblivion
Her eyes speak the language
Only she seems to know.
Her mouth, locked shut,
her feeling mustn't show.
Her ever changing emotions
often scream in pain.
Can't you see her anguish?
No, you just look in disdain.
The world around her seems to fall apart.
So she relieves her pain in a new way she'll start.
She needs something sharp
to press upon her skin.
While it hurts on the outside,
she feels good from within.
She covers her pain with never ending laughter.
Then her stained blade is soon hidden after.
It was then when she took it too far one day
and ended up taking her life away.
No one knew. No one was aware.
So when they heard the news,
all they could do was stare.
Don't you wish you knew
before her life came to an end?
If only she knew that the razor
wasn't her friend.
