Zach

Two months have
Come and passed
Since we’ve seen
Each other last

Wondering what
You’re doing now
Trying not to
Cry somehow

Moments tick by
Time seems to fly
No more tears
Letting go of those fears

Miss you
Day and night
Waiting for the
Summer’s bright

Only a few more months
And I’ll be there
We’ll continue this love
We share

We’ll be together
Not miles apart
No one can hold us back
Because I love you Zack

The author's comments:
This incidently was written for my older "brother" at first. He's not technically my brother, it's just a joke between the two of us. Slowly though this poem became a love poem. So it really couldn't reflect him as much because we share platonic feelings for eachother. So I spelled his name a different way, and it reminded me of my old friend Zack, who I was once my biggest crush when I was in second grade. He moved away at the end of the year, and I was crushed, because he was one of my best friends. So this poem is dedicated to that Zack, even though I don't know where he's at.

I'm simply complicated.

I really liked this! One piece of advice I would have is to try and keep the rhyme scheem the same throughout the whole thing. (I struggle with that) but other then that I thought it was very well written! :)
