The World's Great Tragedy
The world's great tragedy you know
Is that there is such a thing as time
For never a crueler thing there was
Than time and youth and memories
The young, they do not know of time
The old, they are too close to time
Yet in life we are bound to time
A bondage no amount of strength
Could ever hope to sever
Life is a constant dance with time
And my tears are time embodied
