Thunder rolls over the battlefield
The princess is missing from her bedding chambers
Bodies lay bloodied and beaten
A girl rides silently on a horse, into the rain
A boy lies nearly dead, with a silver ring in his hand
The girl, a princess arrives just in time,
With one last breath he places the ring on her finger.
With him in her arms, she cries over the loss of her beloved soldier.
