Last Words; A Wave Goodbye

You waved at me and said goodbye.
You left me without a second thought.
I never thought the day would come.
When my heart was so distraught.
You gave me one last smile.
A single tear rolled down your cheek.
I tried to keep my composure.
But your last words left me so weak.
Your words fell to the ground like a bomb all in the lone.
It hurt me most when you left but i already knew.
You waved at me and said goodbye.
But not before you said, "I love you."
