Take a picture in your mind,
Take it and let it stay.
For the scene you see before you
Will soon be gone away.

Take a video of this moment,
Record all sights and smells
From the waves upon the water
To the tiny, whitest shells.

Make a tape of every loon call,
Memorize each grain of sand.
Pick up a frog and remember it
In the warmness of your hand.

Rock awhile in the wooden swing
And take in all the views.
Write it down in your journal
So this memory you won’t lose.

Put these visions in a safe box
And keep its precious key,
So that one day you may recall
The wonders you now see.

This is beautiful; the rhythm is natural, which corresponds well to the poem's theme. Great work! =)
