Once upon a shooting star
I wished we were never so far.
I left you when you didn’t know
Now my love can never show.

Throw a quarter in a well
Said your name with a quiet yell.
I told you not to speak to me
But now I want you to hear my plea.

Blow out a candle, close your eyes
Kissed you gently, it slowly dies.
I pushed you down, I turned away
I beg of you just let me stay.

I made a mistake, that’s all I can say
I’m sorry, I love you, its plain as day.
Please let me tell it to your face
I love with all my heart, just end this chase.

You are my heart, you are my soul
Without you I can never be whole.
