You Make Me Strong

You make me weak, yet feel so strong
When you hold me in your arms
I can't help but simply smile
You have a way of making me feel so at peace
What it is, I'm really not sure
Your kisses leave me absolutely speechless
The way you make every kiss a gift
I can't help but wonder if you know what you do
Or if all this is news to you
You make me feel so strong, yet weak
When you put your arms around me
And you send chills down my spine
When your lips touch mine
You're my hero in disguise, my superman
You save me when I'm fading,
And catch me when I'm falling
If only you knew, tell me
What would you say? What would you do?

The author's comments:
I wrote this about my boyfriend, who I care very much about. The way he makes me feel is undescribable. I tried my best to describe it though, with this poem. The first time I read it to him was one very special night for us, because it was the night that we really realized that we were in love with eachother and we openly talked about it with eachother for the first time. When I was finished reading it, he was really quiet and I didn't really know why and then he started talking and I could tell that he had been crying and that touched me so much because I knew that my feelings for him had come through to him in this poem.
