Just A Girl
Baby blue prom dress
perfectly painted crimson lips
complete with a dashing prince.
My dress flows around me,
his hands on my hips,
more floating.
Savoring this last dance
before the clock strikes.
The clock chimes,
the music stops,
this fairytale moment ends.
I dare not look back,
for I am just a girl
in a Cinderella world.
