When our relationship had just begun
I loved you. You resembled the sun.
My fingers curved on your six ribbons of gold
We knew a romance story had just been sold
You caused me hurt, you caused me pain,
But I stuck by you all the same.
Now all I hear is beautiful melodies
This infatuation has no remedies
Bond between Guitar and Girl
No other like in it in the world
I memorize myriads of chord progressions
And truly sunny I must make a confession
Your better than any guy that God can provide
With you my tears, hope, and love reside.
