Can't fly
I come from a childhood
of always getting what I needed
I come from a childhood
of spending every free time with daddy
I come from a teenage life
where I spend every free moment alone in a room
I come from a teenage life
of bullying
harassment
and pain
trying to fill the part of me
daddy took away when he left
I come from a life
where daddy‘s shoes have been filled by another
but that only means more pain and fighting
I come from a life
of weekly break downs
I can’t handle it
like a baby bird
I can’t fly
without knowing someone’s there to save me
I hate being alone
but that’s how I always am
I come from a childhood that left too fast
