Happy Ending

December 18, 2008
By Heather Levinson, Covina, CA

In the beginning
There was a boy and a girl
Whose minds were both spinning
With the curiosity to interact with someone new
Not wanting to show it
Until one day there was a breakthrough
They explored every aspect of their illusion
Starting with arguments
And ending in confusion
Was this really their connotation
Of what love was interpreted as
Or had they not established a firm foundation
So time a part seemed like a perfect solution
To fix the wrong
And begin a revolution
But the separation
Changed a heart
And put the girl in frustration
So in pending
There was a boy and a girl
Without a happy ending
