It hurts
When you’ve been kicked to the curb
When all you taste is dirt
It hurts
It hurts in the heart
So much that you couldn’t show it in a chart
Like I’m the bull’s eye and the rest of the world keeps on throwing darts
It hurts in the heart
It hurts
It hurts in the mind
Knowing that everyone around you is blind
Trying to act like everything is fine
It hurts in the mind
It hurts
It hurts in the soul
Not being able to take control
Never seeing the world work has a whole
It hurts in the soul
It hurts
It hurts
To have only sand as company in the desert
To know that things could be worse
It hurts
It hurts! It Hurts! IT HURTS!
And the thing that hurts most of all, is that no one will understand what I mean by these words
