Do you see
The pain in my eyes?
Or the fear
In my heart?
A walking nighmare,
There’s pain
In every corner.
Do you notice
My saddness?
And the tears
That don’t fall?
I cry for her mistakes,
His insecurities.
Do you watch
The care
Of my actions?
Or the neglect
Of my thoughts?
So careful
To hide such fantasies
From the bite
Of reality.
Do you observe
As slowly,
I strangle myself
With the worlds doubts?
