Break Up
The phone cracks on the ground
Deep breath in, loud scream out
It isn’t true, not tonight
This life is so hard
Walls come down, they tear down
Lungs tense up; it’s so hard to breathe
Air, I need air
Collapsing on the cold damp pavement
Holding what’s still left of a heart
Streams coming from broken eyes
Laying on crushed dreams; a crushed heart
Weak and vulnerable in front of the culprit
Shaking body, control is lost
Help is needed help is wanted
This is not what is best; it will never be what’s best
A broken heart inside of a dead girl who only wanted to find love
It's really hard to go through a break up when you have been in a relationship with someone for over a year. I want other readers to know that the pain does start to go away and you will be okay. (we got back together!)
