Eventually
Eventually
Everything fades
Eventually
Slowly dulling along the way
Into darkness, pitch black
Just as the eyes adjust
What is now left there
What to do
Feel the way around
There was nothing
Find a wall to crawl along
Try to get out
One way or another
Lead somewhere
The thoughts rushing through
Anxious, fearful, angst, and panic-stricken
It’s right to stay positive
But in some situations
It seems almost unbearable
