You
You
When I used to look at you,
I would smile.
But now I see nothing,
And it’s really sad.
I remember when we first met,
It was an amazing day.
Our friend Betty introduced us,
And even though I was happy,
I’m mad I ever laid eyes on you.
You turned your back on me,
And I hate you every day for it.
I wish I didn’t.
I wish we could act like nothing ever happened.
But we cant.
The hand of time cannot be turned back,
And I don’t think ill ever be able to forget.
You were my one and only,
And now you’re gone.
Physically but not mentally.
