Work hard to run fast,
And all athletes need their sleep.
For your future is determined in part by your past,
Because what you put in is the only thing you will reap.
You can’t get any better when you toe the line,
Against your competitors in the dark,
All waiting for the sound of the starter’s gun so fine.
This is it, where you will make your mark,
Opportunity is at your door ready to knock.
