Inside My Head

December 17, 2008

There's a little place inside my head
Full of words I've never said
Memories are played with a different end
And mistakes I've made magically mend
There's no sadness or tears
There's no hurt and no fears
I never said the things I want to take back
And my life is finally back on track
In that that little place inside my head I'm safe and secure
But in reality my life's not so great and my life's not so pure

My name is Nathan Banks I wrote this poem after I was daydreaming in class it is about how, when I have nothing to do, I think about the past and what could be instead of focusing on the here and now.

I really like this one. I think we all have that little place in our heads, the one where everything is better and okay, our mental escape whenever life seems to suck. You have such a way with words, I'm so jealous of your talent! btw I read your other poem about your name, it was impressive as well. But I don't agree with you on that one, bc I think your name is awesome and brilliant, just like your poems :)

If your ever bored check out my poem, its called Coming home.

Keep writing inspiring poems Nathan B :)
