The Dream
I don’t know what to write.
It is so hard and confusing.
The stress builds up and makes it harder to think
All my thoughts begin to shrink.
Then ideas pop in my head and I see the light
I open my notebook and began to write.
I hand in my paper and look at my teacher’s face
She glares at me and says my paper is a disgrace.
I leave the classroom and walk down the hall.
I feel that at any minute I am going to fall.
I take one more step and my mind goes clear
And soon everything around me starts to disappear.
I instantly awake with my face on my floor.
I must have fallen asleep while I was walking to the door.
Now it’s all over, as though it seems
I’m glad that it was just a dream.
