Virginia's Soldiers

For honour, For glory, For duty, For you
That is why I will march into the jaws of hell
Do not worry I am in good company too
Spending everyday with you I could never sell
But freedom is what matters, I do wish I knew
To whether I will survive or fight and be felled
I will fight amongst our country’s heroic few
Do not worry for one day I will ring that bell
I will speak of the fight, which we payed the devils due
With a smile I will have the honour to tell.

I am not a big poet. I wrote this for fun. I am still learning and comments are always looked forward to. I also happen to be a very proud Virginian which is the basis for this poem. I also hope to have a succesful Military Career
