Defining Moment
Our fingers brush together silently
one simple touch sends currents up my spine
I shiver, my heart pounding violently
as he leans in and our hands intertwine
It seems almost like time is standing still
we sit so timid, staring at the tile
my eyes rise up to meet his without will
I am content just sitting here awhile
Each everlasting second passes by
I can’t believe how lucky I have been
to find someone that makes me want to fly,
to throw my arms up in the air and grin
Relationship beginning to focus
the world has stopped it’s spinning just for us
