Hopefully
We constantly find ourselves portaying the people around us. We beg the world to let us soar on our own, to let us not be influenced by others to let no single human being stop us from completing that which God has called us to do.
We beg and plead "Let go of us world!". Let go of the books we read, the music we listen to, and the people we meet. But as we grow we realize that it is not the world that needs to let go of us, or our friends. It is us that must give up everything that is not Good in the eyes of God, our families and us. We know right from wrong. We are old enough to understand that this world is always trying to change and corrupt our views of how we should live. Life is not about any significant amount of money, or any amount of success. Life is simply a journey in which we create an identity that we would like to be remembered by. Someday it won't matter. We will be gone, we will be with the ones we love, and Life will be a series of wonderful memories. Hopefully.
