Not Quite Crazy
Not quite crazy, but not quite sane
Somethings off inside my brain
People tend to laugh and scoff
When they see how far I'm off
I've gone off the deep end
And I've begun to depend
On the voices inside my head
To keep me alive rather than dead
They speak to me, tell me what to do
They keep me from being sad, being blue
I'm just kidding, don't you see
We are normal, her and me
We share one body, but each seperate thought
And we have never ever fought
I'm just kidding, dont you see
I'm as normal as can be
I'm happy one minute, sad the next
Then I am a nervous wreck
I'm up, I'm down, I'm back and forth
My mood is changing for all I'm worth
I'm just kidding, don't you get it
I'm about to throw a huge fit
But I'm depressed, why dont you see
I just don't want to live with me
I'm just kidding, though my story is almost done
The thoughts in my head practice a race to be run
I'm becoming weak, I'm becoming shy
And I just told another lie
And another and another and a few other more
To spice up my life, which has become quite a bore
I'm kidding, do you finaly get it
Because my poems over, I'm done with it
