Her Disaster

December 16, 2008

Disaster struck there

I learn here

She builds up,

I stay down.

The Mama says, “Have hope.”

The Papa says, “Stay strong.”

Everything’s gone.

No food, water,

shelter, only nothing.

I give blankets, shoes.

She takes them for comfort, protection.

War breaks out.

We send troops.

More weakness and despair.

I send supplies,

strength, and

hope.
