darkened dreams
and scattered screams.
Something in the dark unseen.

Nightly walks
watching grey hawks.
Another boring day for me.

Light caress
a simple dress.
Something pulls you into me.

Always there
not quite fair.
Something makes you join me.

I control
it takes a toll.
Something tells me I'll win.

Slow breathing
and strangled steps.
I think I've finally won.

Hidden fears
and darkened tears.
I've won this game for years.

Goodbye.

A simple poem by a simple quack. I was bored and it had to do with the book I was writing so I posted it.
