a girl that I love

I love you for the way you made me feel
I haven’t ever felt something so pure and so real
I’m really sorry you had to go
What I’m gonna do, I really don’t know
You’re far away from me, my friend
My thoughts still hold your silhouette
My heart’s still full of your clear voice
You had to go, you left no choice
Happiness was then, I didn’t know
The moment true colors started to show
The next thing I know you’re not there, you’re gone
But I’m here waiting for you, you know
I won’t pretend I’m strong and brave
I need to feel you to know I won’t brake
The price to pay was pretty high
I’m a guy of twenty two with a tear in the eye
The vision is over, I’m searching again
Will it be like this forever? I want it to end
The feeling is fading, it’s already gone
I’m sure that I saw you, that’s all that I know
The great thing about it -- you’re still in my heart
The place just for you, the girl that I love
The place where all memories belong just to me
I hid them there for no one to see

Hi guys,

I wrote this after I saw Avril Lavigne for the first and up to the moment last time so far. It was a small venue she played in Moscow last year. I felt a bit overwhelmed and wrote this poem. Hope you like it. Thanks

Nice poem. I went to an Avril Lavigne concert once in Miami. She's awesome. Your poem is a little deep for a celebrity crush...Still good, though. Keep writing.

I really liked the poem, mainly because I love reading love poems. But little corrections,

1.You should switch the words "strong" and "brave" around. It flows better.

2. I liked the poem better before I knew that it was written about someone you have barely met. Its kind of creepy.

But the poem was amazing, so way to go :D
