Almost Lost

We were lost
They told us
And
We would never make it
They said
All because
We forgot our prior lives
Turning to electronics instead
No more
Laughter, love, and morals
We focused on
Materialistic views of life
Ignoring
What really mattered
Making changes based on
What we thought was right
We did
We struggled
To fix our mistakes
It was almost too late

OH MY GOSH. I LOOOOOOVVEEE THIS!!! Ah-em, sorry for my enthusiasm lol. This is great! I love backwards poetry, it has two amazing meanings, and this flowed really well both ways!
