empty one

the empty one sits in his empty place
says his silence
smiles his faceless
he sits in his place
ten feet away, the colorful people
mocking and happy, blind eyes on the empty one
they are full, he's an outline, empty as glass
just a horizon
one of them sees the dreams there
sees the want for wanting
how he longs to feel something
but they don't have anything to give
to someone running out empty
