Middle School
The lessons we learn here are tough.
We are broken down,
And we must rebuild.
This is new turf,
Elementary school is gone.
We learn that “best friends” isn’t forever.
It’s a day-by-day devotion.
Hallway gossip is vicious,
And reputations are temporary.
Hugs don’t fix everything,
And some friends are lost forever
In these two years,
We learn how life will be.
And it isn’t pretty.
