Hope
Hope
As I walk through the desert, hopelessly lost
The scorching sunlight burns my face
And the heat of the day drains my energy
Then off in the distance
I see a Lake
As I approach, it disappears
Disappointed, I continue to move on
Then, because of exhaustion
I fall to the ground
I crawl under the shade of a nearby tree
Just when I begin to lose all hope
I hear a helicopter overhead
They land and pick me up
They tell me that I’ve been lost for awhile
And that they’re going to take me safely home
