Body Like a Canvas

December 13, 2008

Your heart is a canvas on which you write the name of your lover.
Your eyes are like strings by which you pull in the curious.
Your soul is a sculpture of one with more greater love.
Your hands are like water by which the grace flows.
Your lips are like pearls from them I hear my name.
Your hair are like the waves to whom the wind desperately meets.
Your smile is like a virus, so contagious and rapid.
Your skin is like milk, so silky and desired.
Your body is like an artwork, souley existing and fragile.

This piece was inspired by nothing and everything. I used each of my friend's physical features to create a "sculpture" that is metaphorically explained in my poem.
