Moon in my heart
Perched atop the highest hill
In that lonely desert land
The wolf was howling at the sky
Hoping for the moon to hear his cry
It’s night and this poor wolf has lost his way
And now he stands alone and scared
For no light can reach the place
So he keeps on crying
Hoping that the moon will light his way
My written words call for you now
Like the wolf’s most tender cry
To you:
The moon that always lights my heart
Even as it falls on darker times
