Thoughts Blown Away
December 12, 2008
Sitting here watching the wind,
blowing leaves, hair, misc. trash.
Watching kids play and talk,
happiness engulfing all those around.
Wind blowing the green sea.
Laughter filling the air,
carrying for miles.
Frost nipping at noses,
hands freezing red.
One lonely girl sitting,
wishing to keep happiness.
Grasping it for dear life,
not wanting the pain to rise.
Friends fighting over love,
Lovers fighting over hate,
Parents fighting over kids,
Where is the peace?
Stress consuming the nerves.
Sitting here watching the wind,
blowing my thoughts around.
