Have you ever felt lonely?
When you always sat by yourself wishing, “If only”
Have you ever felt forlorn?
When the pain of being left out caused you to mourn.
Have you ever felt alone?
When it seemed like nobody had a hand to loan.
Have you ever felt friendless?
When the cliques and the misery seemed to endless.
Have you ever felt ignored?
When the eyes stared past you and it cut like a sword.
I’ve been wishing, “If only.”
If only no one EVER had to feel this lonely.
