Suddenly appeared in my doorway

Except for oil-stained jeans
The sweater his mom sewed him for Christmas
A dichromatic scarf ))
Leaning on the doorframe
With a come-hither grin
He offered me his hand
And without thinking
I stepped out into the snow
(( Barefoot
Hair pulled back, uncombed
A torn up T-shirt from the third grade
Vulnerable Mickey Mouse pajamas ))
