We Are Different

November 2, 2008

we are different through the human eyes.
but through gods eyes we are not.
white, tan, dark brown all the colors of skin mean nothing to him.
red, black, blonde colors of our hair mean nothing to him.
but red the color of blood is same in everyone.
you may talk different
look different
and feel different
but in his eyes we are all the same
god loves us all the same
shouldnt you
its the same everyday
people always judge you , they judge everything about you, every single day
but god does not, we are all equal in his loving eyes
one day my dear, we will go to a place were we are all truly equal
like it should be

I like this poem alot. I live in a small town that is dominantly white, and lots of people here are very prejudice. I know exactly what it feels like to be discriminated against because of the color of your skin. Everything you said is so true! Keep writing:)
