Unspoken World

Understanding those in todys society seems nothing close to real
Trying to explain myself through this poem,
I am trying to tell you how I feel
Being able to pronounce different words and adjectives
Seems like no one understands the place that I live
Trying to tell a story with in these few words and short lines
You're listening but you dont see me
Eyes wide open yet still you're blind
No level understadable, just a waste of time
No matter how hard I try the world will never be mine
Blue, a color, but also a feeling far to surreal
If he was "balling," he wouldnt have take you to Mcdonalds for no happy meal
The grass isnt always greener on the other side of the hill
If you've got a headache, and or feeling stressed they to you, pop a pill
Too fly to be depressed
Nothing to wear to church on sunday
But Friday night, you're in the club in you're freakum dress
Dont want to go to school, afraid your clothes wont impress
Put your all into hustling, yet in school dont try you're best
Keep it 100 on the streets, but you faileed ya math test
Instead of trying or reading you decided to make a guess
Dont even know ya states yet you're throughing up west
Trap all day
Trap all night
You gets no rest
Yet so many wonder why this world is a mess
A firm testimony is what, is needed
Subpeona recieved in the mail read it
Telling for you're own safety will get you thrown in a body bag
Two shots to the head, 17 year old black male found dead
Living up to the things that Jim Crow said
So far behind
Could've sworn you were ahead
Compared to most you consider your self o unfourtunate
You take the little you have granted
Hand always open ready to recieve
Not listening while I recite
One of my biggest pet peeves
Claim hegot so much money in the bank
Yet he walkig round in clothes that stank
Worrying about the new j's coming out next week
When he has'nt even thought about whats on his daughters feet
Big booty chick make ya heart weak
Two letters A-K have you slumped in you're seat
Speaking reality, only to those that will listeng
Walking around like you dont do dirt
Like you wont end up missing
Things that I say will soon have you wishing
I should have not only heard that girl I should have listened
Peering out my window top
Looking toward the sky
I cant question my god
I cant ask my god why?
Living for the moment like you'll never have regrets
Taking back the things you said and done?
Feel no petty
You arent the only one
Every morning I awaken
I preay for myself and son
For I am unsure some days when I return, if I'll have one
The street are becoming far too clever
But I am not gonna worry
Life doesnt last forever
