The cigarette smoke curls away from her face
Revealing two beautiful green eyes; ruby-red lips
Light shatters off of her sequined top,
Her pants slung low on her hips.
Nothing is revealed and nothing is learned—
Where did she come from and where did she go?
a flame flicks out and licks another smoke and the curtain lifts;
welcome to the show.
