Pain hurts
like a needle
in the veins
skin so tight
lifeless eyes
broken again
fingers numb
waiting for the
air to surface
Harder to breathe
heart hurts
reaching out to hold on
to something to save you
Nothings there
just the air
waiting to catch you
tears run red
clutches the bottle again
only to find pain
regret hangs there
like a dark cloud
and you're stuck there
in the middle of it all
light captures your face
and you wake up
dreaming in colors
now you've done all you can
to save me
