Are you afraid of what’s to come?
Of what could happen
When all is said and done
Of the things that could have
And should have occurred
The terror of what might have
Or didn’t have concurred
With the way I saw it
Inside my head
The thoughts I'm now having
While laying in this hospital bed
Did someone make a mistake?
And is this my wake?
Or is everything fine and alright.
I will admit to you now,
I’m a little bit scared
Of what yet, I do not know.
The unknown as it is
Is frightful to me.
But then I awoke and thought
Did I have a dream?
